About Althea Naturopathic
In Greek, Althea means “to heal”, “with healing power”, and “wholesome”. Our bodies have an amazing ability to heal when given the right conditions. My goal is to help you unlock your body’s ability to heal itself through gentle methods such as deep nutrition, exercise, homeopathy, hydrotherapy and holistic counseling.
One of Dr. April’s favorite healing herbs is called Althaea officinalis, a beautiful plant, also known as Marshmallow. The root of this herb is nourishing and excellent for healing our digestive tract. There could not be a more perfect herb to represent our inner beauty and ability to heal ourselves.
